That’s how it should be, right?
We, the Democratic party, the liberals, the progressive ones on the left, are the ones who fight for equality for all, who fight for civil rights for all, who fight for education reform and REAL family values, we are the ones who aim high anyways. That’s our jam.
While the Republican Party preaches “family values”, they separate immigrant families, lock children in cages, empower racism and bigotry, and with gleeful fervor, Republicans stifle American citizens' options when it comes to making sound and pertinent choices about their families and their lives.
While the Republican party, seeing America’s demographic future (and it ain't red people), illegally deny Obama his Supreme court pick, stack the judicial system in their favor with religious conservatives (against the will of the American people), and utilizes unheard-of squiggly-lined gerrymandering and draconian voter registration laws aimed squarely at minorities and urban populations (you know, the Democratic party’s base), because if you can't beat them fairly and honor the wishes of the American people, then cheat like a mutha!
And they do. Boy, do they ever! The GOP beats the DNC at every turn, because not only do they not play by the rules, they change the rules to suit them.
