OUR DRIVING FORCE
Around the time Trump announced his run for President in late 2015, I realized I was unhappy with my life. Something about “if you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem” was ringing true for the first time in my life.
And as the reality that Trump really was going to run for President sunk in, I had the realization that except for the 1%, the quality of life for most everybody else was about to get worse.
I consider myself liberal and progressive with my beliefs and values. But I’d never been an activist.
I didn’t protest the Iraq wars.
I didn’t protest Bush’s theft of the 2000 presidential election.
I didn’t beat a single drum at any of the Occupy events.
I didn’t help after 9/11, Katrina, or the BP oil spill.
I didn’t participate in the Right To Marry movement.
Or even, more recently, Black Lives Matter.
I felt for all these causes, and I had big ideas, but in reality I was apathetic. Nihilistic. And I was a procrastinator.
BUT THE POSSIBILITY OF TRUMP AS PRESIDENT WOKE ME THE FUCK UP!!
I showed friends several anti-Trump t-shirt designs I made and in February of 2016 we launched SynchWear, a T-shirt company with the explicit purpose of creating protest and activist themed shirts. Starting with only 5 t-shirt designs, plus the strength of our legendary Hidden Message shirts, we grew.
In early 2018 we rebranded as Aggrovist Apparel for the 2018 Midterms.
We are pivoting to further define what an advocacy clothing company can mean.
The shirts are not the activism; they are the messages to create awareness.
With our social media we are creating a venue for voices within the Progressive movement to be heard.
We have partnered with Give and Grow to provide donation opportunities on our website. A portion of the proceeds will go towards donations for charities and non-profits with the Round Up for Charity program and additional donation opportunities to 9 different charities.

Out on the horizon is Aggrovist Events. This will be our in-house events division entity to raise awareness and funds for charities.
